"I will ... tomorrow"

"Nothing changes if nothing changes"

I find myself saying, "I will eat better tomorrow" or "I will exercise tomorrow" etc etc...

And yet, tomorrow comes around and BAM... same shit different day.

Why is this happening?

I think we do this because we are staying in our comfort zones.

What do we get from this?? Nothing but regret and disappointment.

Why are we so hard on ourselves all the time? Why do we always want to change something? Why can't we just be satisfied with where we are RIGHT NOW?

It makes me wonder (that or just overthink- like always), whether I really want to change anything? What behaviours do I want to change? Why am I holding myself back?

Personally,

I want to eat more regularly and in moderation, think positive, exercise more often, sleep well and be more confident in my own skin.

Now this has been a goal for a few months and what has changed? Not a lot.

I think about the benefits of staying with what i am doing now. And in the long run... the answer is shit-all!

There is a difference between listening to your body and just being plain lazy.

And i am just being lazy and a scaredy-cat.

Be who you want to be now. By the time tomorrow comes around it is today! "Tomorrow" is almost irrelevant in this case. We may as well be saying "when i grow up".

So my advice to myself here...

"Grow up, suck it up, thank yourself for it later. Nothing changes if nothing changes"
