Acupressure point for the Mind

What is acupressure?

Gently massaging or holding a specific point on body that corresponds to acupuncture point (aka... self acupuncture).

HEART 7 point.

How to:

1. Turn a hand with palm facing up

2. On the inner side of wrist, locate the little hole in between start of hand and the bone closest

3. Hold this point, put essential oils on this point, or simply massage it with your thumb.

What it does?

This point helps to calm the mind and nourishes Heart-Blood

What it can help with:

- Insomnia

- Poor memory

- Depression

- Sadness and Fear

- Agitation

In Chinese Medicine, the Heart is seen as the house for the Spirit or "Shen". It also houses the mind. Therefore mental activity, memory and thinking aswell as anxiety are connected to the Heart.

Heart 7 can also have an anti-itching effect helping to relieve eczema.

It also has the effect of "nourishing Heart-Blood", and in terms of menstruation in combination with the Kidneys and Liver-Blood, can help regulate and promote healthy periods, and improve sexual desire.
