How to love yourself unconditionally

Do you constantly criticise yourself? Do you feel that you will love yourself when you lose weight, get the job, get in the relationship, or stop your addiction? What are you telling yourself on a daily basis? This false perception that you will love yourself when the "something" happens, may be something that is holding you back from living your best life... and nobody wants that.

I believe the best person for self love is the one and only, Louise Hay. If you haven't heard of her, do yourself a favour and google her name or search in youtube. She is the queen of affirmations and self love.

Loving yourself does not mean being selfish and up yourself. Loving yourself means treating yourself with kindness and respect. Loving yourself means you listen and trust your inner guidance. It means you fuel your body with nourishing foods, it means you move your body in an enjoyable way, it means you treat you speak kindly to yourself. I like to remember this "speak kindly to yourself because you are the only one listening"

HOW TO:

1. Praise yourself often

Whether it be the awesome hairstyle you got going today, or for the fact that you got out of bed)

2. Laugh at yourself

If you trip on your way up the stairs or you bump your head as you get in the car, giggle to yourself- trust me it makes life fun!)

3. Be kind to your negatives

Nothing blossoms without a little love

4. Stop comparing

Comparing yourself to others will always lead to judgement which often leads to criticism

5. Don't scare yourself

Turn to love instead of fear

Another top tip i love to do... listen to Louise Hay on youtube, even listening to her while getting ready for your day will help. You will be surprised at what your subconscious mind picks up.

Practice this daily and see how your life changes. I promise!
